Does Your Real Estate Photographer Do This?

My highest priority is making sure you have the best quality photos to sell your listings. Not only is the lighting and the colors of the room important but also the composition. Finding the best angle of the room to show off its features.

One of the biggest things I see in Real Estate photography are the vertical lines not being straight. This makes the room look eschewed. We all know when we walk into a room the corners of where two walls meet, windows and door frames, are always straight. The photos should reflect that as well.

Notice that the doorway on the right and the window on the left are parallel to the edge of the photo. These vertical lines are straight. Super wide angle lens will often distort the edges of the photo causing them to bend. Knowing this, I make sure to keep my vertical lines as straight as possible when taking the photos and make any slight adjustments when necessary in editing. My highest priority is making sure your photos come out looking amazing.
